Canada Beergarden: a local shift for a unique product!
After nearly a decade of importing our products from Germany, we're adding a local dimension to our collection!
For many years, a persistent idea has been on our minds: a shift toward short supply chains and the development of a local product. As Canada is a land of wood, it seemed logical to explore the possibilities of producing our Sets of tables and benches here.
After several prototypes with manufacturers that didn't fully satisfy us, we finally found the artisan who understood our specifications. Bois Public is a non-profit organization, which specializes in the manufacture of home and street furniture, promoting the revaluation of a highly local wood: the ash.

Felled following the emerald ash borer epidemic that has plagued Montreal since 2015, the organization saw an opportunity: to transform the wood from the felled trees and return them to the community. This wood is now featured in our new collection of tables and benches, the Mont-Royale collection!
Ash offers a strong and durable wood. In cabinetmaking, it's the ideal species for making sturdy furniture. It's one of the woods that resists cold and humidity, and even less so when exposed to heavy loads. It's an ideal material for our sets and the realities of the Canadian climate.

The Mont-Royale collection is therefore local, unique, and part of the circular economy!
The table and bench tops are made of oil-treated ash, providing a refined finish and maximum durability. The metal legs and anchors are still manufactured in Germany to maintain the unparalleled quality of Made in Germany. The signature of this new collection is its industrial gray metal frames, reflecting a superior design that will appeal to both aesthetes and discerning eye.
A new adventure begins, in line with our values of ecology, reducing our footprint, and reusing our resources. Available this spring in limited quantities, place your order now!
